New Initiative – RespondDE Volunteer Training of the Month

 

 

(6.28.2024) – RespondDE is excited to announce the Volunteer Training of the Month’ initiative for our volunteers. Every month, starting with July 2024, a training course on DE TRAIN will be highlighted for volunteers to complete, with the possibility of prizes being awarded to the first few volunteers who complete it first. These trainings will be based off of the National MRC’s Core Competencies 4 Learning Paths: Volunteer Preparedness, Volunteer Response, Volunteer Leadership, and Volunteer Support for Community Resiliency. The Core Competencies were developed to provide all volunteers with a baseline level of knowledge and skill that they need to perform their duties in their units. July’s training will be provided soon so stay tuned for updates!
